Communication
I can support a range of communication difficulties. These include but are not restricted to:
- Language difficulties (delays or disorders)
- Speech sound difficulties
- Attention difficulties
- Social skill disorders
- Autism
- Learning difficulties
- Pre-verbal communication
- Augmentative and alternative communication
Eating and drinking support
I can support eating and drinking difficulties from birth. I have experience of a range of feeding problems and have post qualifications in dysphagia (eating and drinking difficulties). I enjoy supporting children with eating difficulties as I know first-hand how stressful it is when children don’t or can’t eat. Difficulties I can support may include:
- Feeding aversions
- Weaning queries / challenges / difficulties
- Dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)
- Bottle refusal
- Fussy eaters
- Developmental feeding difficulties
- Syndromes/conditions impacting on feeding development
I also work with a range of professionals that can offer dietary and nutritional support if necessary.
Sleep
I became hugely interested in sleep development unsurprisingly when I became a mummy. I was obsessed by it. Like with anything in my life, when I am interested in it, I throw my whole self into it and I have undergone training in sleep development. I have skills and experience in creating positive sleep habits. I can offer advice around setting up a routine and developing basic sleep hygiene in the home environment.
